Massage oil> and rub on the glands on both sides of my neck. Then I rub the same oil all over the bottoms of both feet, but especially on the top half of the foot. The lungs, nose, and head are all from the bottom of the feet to the toes. I just smother it on the night I feel it coming on. The next morning I repeat it before leaving for work.
Sometimes I will add some Echinacea (also comes in large and in Liquid) and/or Goldenseal (also comes in large and in blends with Echinacea in capsules and liquid) to boost my immunity further. This has consistently worked for both my husband and me.
Between the two of us, we have avoided more than a dozen colds doing this. Don't be discouraged if you wake up the next morning with a sore throat or drippy nose. Just put it on again. By the time I come home from work, I have usually forgotten that I was getting sick. The trick is to do this early enough or you will be stuck with it.
